Spring Break Fun Sailing in San Diego aboard the Tigress.

Many Friendly dolphins this week.

We launched the kayaks and went out to say hello to the dolphins close up.  The lazy Sea Lions woke up, and went swimming with the dolphins.

Dolphins everywhere.

2 in 1 Catamaran / Sea Kayaking combo adventures

The weather is warming up now in March and it's time to do some Sailing / Sea Kayaking combo trips. This is one of my favorite types of adventures because we get to get out and do a little of everything.  We take a nice sail up to Point Loma, and drop the anchor in the calm waters just near the Point Loma Lighthouse.  Then we launch our state of the art Hobie Mirage peddle kayaks for some exploring along the coastline.  Sometimes the sea lions and dolphins come to swim alongside the kayaks.  Some of my guests choose to just relax on the forward trampolines while other guests are out Kayaking.
After doing some kayaking, we raise anchor, sail into the ocean to look for dolphins, and then enjoy a nice sail down San Diego Harbor as we return to the marina.  4 hours gives us enough time to really enjoy the afternoon.

Look forward to sailing with you.

It's been a great whale watching season with Pacific White Side, Common, and Bottle Nose dolphins playing under the bows of Tigress.  We've had plenty of grey whales, and have also seen some Blue Whales, and Fin Back Whales.  Even though it's been a wet and windy year for sailing in San Diego, it's hard to complain when much of the rest of the country has had snow.  I've yet to put a pair of long pants on this year........
